Indigo Consulting has a presence in Chennai and Mumbai in India, and a team of management consulting associates based in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States.
The firm’s roots go back to 1979 when Dr. Besant Raj, a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, founded Besant Raj Consultants Ltd., servicing clients from India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
The firm expanded into North America in 2008 when his son Irwin Besant Raj started Consulting operations in Canada. Irwin, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, one of the India’s top business schools, is a second-generation entrepreneur with extensive experience in Banking, Management Consulting, Entrepreneurship, and International Trading.
Indigo Consulting is trusted by dozens of private, government and non-profit clients in different sectors and is the market entry firm of choice for small and medium businesses in North America looking to enter international markets. Indigo’s Consulting team works closely with Canada’s Federal Government, the Trade Commissioner Service, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and Export Development Canada (EDC).
