Philippe Vermande

Born and educated in France, Philippe has built a successful international career in consulting, business development, marketing and project management spanning five continents – Europe, Asia, Australia, North America and Africa. He has worked with companies in a broad range of industries: wireless telecommunications, satellites, radio/tv broadcasting, media and entertainment, nuclear energy, and food and beverages.

A trained telecommunications engineer from the prestigious Telecom SudParis in France, Philippe has expertise working in emerging mobile, satellite and broadcasting technologies. He has implemented successful market penetration strategies in countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and Africa.

He has also consulted with Canadian and foreign corporations to identify new business opportunities and world-class technical and investment partners. He has worked on international projects where he brought together public and private investors and has built successful strategic partnerships around the world.

Philippe has lived in six countries – The Netherlands, Germany, Singapore, Australia and Canada, and is bilingual in French and English. An intellectually curious person, he enjoys learning about new technologies and meeting people from different cultures. He also possesses basic knowledge of German and Korean languages.

Philippe lives in Toronto and enjoys cooking and home renovation projects.
