Peter has built a successful career in the Information and Communications Technology sector in various leadership and management capacities. He has extensive international experience in managing Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Service teams. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and executive management skills, he provides solutions that lead to world class products and services and customer acquisitions. He has developed product marketing and customer acquisition strategies for analog to digital conversion, compression technologies, digital video streaming, e-commerce, micro-payments, industrial internet of things (IIoT) and cloud-based services.

Over the course of his career, Peter has worked with companies of varying sizes, ranging from startups to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and Fortune 1000 companies. He is highly skilled at developing and executing differentiated business models, creative development approaches, acquiring first customers and early adopters for future exponential revenue growth.

Peter helped pivot LxSix Photonics Inc., an optical fiber component manufacturer, to develop and market monitoring systems for the SAGD Oilsands Producers in Alberta. The successful transformation to the oil and gas sector led to the company’s acquisition by Weatherford International Plc.

Peter has also worked as the Director of Business Development of International Expansion Advisory Services at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), where he invigorated the export growth of Canadian SMEs. He led a team that worked with Canadian companies to develop go-to-market strategies, market entry plans and enhanced operational efficiencies to intensify revenue growth.

Early in his career, Peter guided the engineering development of systems to build the internet and later established and managed a global network of distributors and dealers and a direct sales force in North America. He served as a Vice President in Canada and Managing Director for the European Operations in the UK for Memotec Inc. and Teleglobe. These experiences, gained at the forefront of innovations, have led him to develop a broad understanding of international market entry strategies and competitive markets. He has also participated in several IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy developments to propel SMEs to Fortune 1000 status.

Peter received the Canada Certificate of Export Award from the Minister of International Trade and has co-authored several Society of Petroleum Engineers papers on heavy oil recovery methods and Society of Physical Engineering papers fiber Bragg grating methods and operations.

Peter and his wife live in Saint Lazare, Canada. He enjoys history and learning about societies and cultures, playing guitar, cooking, and playing sports and games with his grandchildren.
