Case Study - 1

This federally funded study (through IRAP) was for a Nuclear Engineering company in Ontario that was looking at building their order book. Indigo Consulting studied the clients products and services, identified target markets and recommended various marketing initiatives both domestic and international. The project that was for the duration of 9 months has resulted in the company securing orders in excess of $10 million as against the original target of $1 million, a more than ten fold increase.

Case Study - 2

A leading Dental software company in Canada with clients across Canada and limited presence in the United States wanted to work on strategies to grow their market share in the US. Indigo Consulting conducted a detailed market study that identified the top 5 states by number of Dental practices and also the ways in which the Dental practices were compensated through various US Insurance companies and Clearing houses. This resulted in specific strategies being developed for these targeted states.

Case Study - 3

This federally funded study (through IRAP) was for a Plastics packaging company. The company produces plastic containers for the baking industry and had static sales for the past few years. A study by Indigo Consulting revealed several potential corporate clients in the bakery sector and unveiled a host of other packaging opportunities in other sectors. Connections were made with potential clientele and samples produced. This 9 month project resulted in the client securing orders for over $2 million from a new client by the end of the project.

Case Study - 4

This federally funded study (through IRAP) was for a leading Ontario winery that has franchisees across Ontario. The objectives were to identify new franchisees in the province and to study global opportunities for the company’s fresh juices. The 9 month project resulted in the company identifying and signing up with two new Franchisees in Ontario. The company also signed up with a master distributor in India who has committed to purchase over $500,000 in fresh juices over the next two years.

Case Study - 1

A General contractor in Mississauga wanted to enter the “Architectural Drafting services” business. The team at Indigo Consulting identified a set of Indian companies in the Drafting business based on a pre-determined set of criteria. The Canadian client has now entered into a joint venture with a reputed firm in Chennai, India.

Case Study - 2

A manufacturer of a specialized food ingredient was keen to enter the Indian markets. Indigo Consulting conducted a detailed Market study that helped define key suppliers and customers in the Indian industry. A Market entry strategy was devised and the client visited India to meet with a shortlist of prospective customers. Indigo’s India office is now the clients “Virtual Office” in India.

A leading Canadian Mobile phone servicing company wishing to expand their base requested an Indian Mobile phone industry study. The Market study revealed that India is the second largest mobile phone market in the world with 925 million users. The next stage involved the creation of the ideal entry strategy.

Case Study - 4

One of Canada’s largest egg producers was keen to explore the Indian market for value added Egg products. Indigo Consulting conducted a detailed study that showed a deficit of value added products in the segment and an immediate opportunity for frozen liquid egg products. Indigo Consulting then identified a set of potential JV partners in India who could produce and package the liquid egg products under the Canadian company’s brand name for the market. Discussions are underway for next steps.
